'Mo' Green balances work ethic and family
In just a few weeks, Maurice “Mo” Green will take over as the new superintendent for Guilford County schools. An indication of his work ethic is, he will not be handing over the keys to his current office until it’s time for him to assume his position as the new superintendent. Green says he has always been a hard worker, even as a kid. “I was raised in Macon, G.A. As a kid, I worked in a candy store and for a trucking company, both were owned by my family,” Green explained. “I will never forget my first job. I liked working in that candy store. Pros and Cons of Modern Technology
War is war. There was a time during wars, when civilians could enter into bomb shelters with their families and be reasonably safe from death. However, some genius created the technology for the “Smart Bomb,” a name given to a bomb dropped by American pilots in the war against Iraq. The initial part of the bomb would strike first, drill a hole and allow the bomb which followed to enter its target. When it did enter a building or a bomb shelter, it exploded with a force that created a temperature of 7,000 degrees. Everyone, including mothers holding babies were found melted as their imprints were left on ceilings, walls and floors.
